We are hiring Vehicle Detail - Lot Technicians at our Layton & Riverdale locations. Lot Technicians prepare vehicles for the dealership showroom, lot, sale and delivery by washing & detailing the interior & exterior cosmetics.

Vehicle preparation may include:

• Washing
• Vacuuming
• Buffs
• Waxes
• Shampooing
• Restoring interior
• Restoring exterior
• Applying fabric protection
• Cleaning engine compartments
• Charging vehicle batteries
• Replace or adjust minor parts or accessories
• Replenishing fuel in vehicles

Responsibilities:

• Washing & Cleaning Vehicles
• Inspect Vehicles
• Ensure work areas are clean

• Attend staff meetings & training
• Assist the retail & fleet departments in preparing vehicles

Qualifications:

• Able to drive automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Clean driving record
• Professional appearance
• Able to independently stay on task
• Safety & customer service oriented
• Able to lift heavy objects

No experience is necessary; we will train the right person. However, experience in detailing & general automotive knowledge is preferred.

• Manage customer inquiries and provide accurate and timely responses
• Schedule test drives and follow up with customers to assess their satisfaction
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed monthly sales targets
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions and incentives to maximize sales opportunities

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED 
• Proven customer service experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license
