Every year Tony Divino Toyota is excited to see the outrageous new Toyota and other make vehicles that are on display at the annual SEMA show. This annual event is held in Las Vegas and draws in  upwards of 60,000 international and domestic buyers. The automotive designs and modified uniquely vehicles are created by the brightest of minds and make for in interesting display.

At the Specialty Equipment Market Association Toyota gave a farewell tribute to the FJ Cruiser in addition to displaying a youthful and quirky version of the Highlander SUV. The fun, cartoon themed model was given the name 2014 SpongeBob Highlander. The vehicle, staying true to its name, features SpongeBob Squarepants the yellow Nickelodeon cartoon sponge.

In a conjunctive effort between Nickelodeon and Toyota the model was designed with a SpongeBob theme and included a real-life aquarium tank.  This 800-gallon tanks was designed by the Animal Planet show, ā€œTankedā€ experts Brett Raymer and Wayde King.

The aquarium spans throughout the entire vehicle length from just behind the two front seats. The tank is filled with salt water and contains 32 oceanic species such as :

  • Squirrelfish.
  • Starfish.
  • Fiji.
  • Angel Fish
  • Clownfish.
  • Pilot Fish and more.
