Here at Tony Divino Toyota, we get to witness the monthly successes of the Toyota brand, first-hand, when satisfied customers drive their new Toyota models to their homes in greater Salt Lake City, UT and surrounding areas.
However, in terms of how Toyota is doing in the rest of the U.S., we have to rely on official Toyota sales reports. Luckily, these are made readily available to us through various Toyota media outlets and then we are able to report them right here on the Tony Divino Toyota blog for you, our readers.
And, the latest on this list of Toyota U.S. successes comes from October's sales reports, and specifically, the total number of Toyota models (168,976) that were sold or leased in the U.S. during the tenth month of the year. This number represents a 4.8 percent increase, in terms of the daily selling rate, or DSR, as compared to the numbers in October 2012.
As for the year-over-year stats, after being adjusted for the number of selling days for the two years, Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A saw a sales increase of 8.8 percent, in raw volume, from October 2012 to 2013.
As for the specific new Toyota models which saw the biggest increases, they include the all-new Toyota Tundra up nearly 23 percent and the Avalon which is continuing its trend of triple-digit increases!
If you'd like more information about the Toyota brand and why the models are so popular here and in the rest of the U.S., then we at Tony Divino Toyota invite you to stop by our greater Salt Lake City area Toyota dealership, any time.
